This summer, Ascend Advisors was proud to welcome three talented interns to our team. Two joined us from California State University, Northridge (CSUN), and one was referred by a current team member.
Although our internship program was reintroduced only last fall, it has quickly become an important part of our commitment to developing future accounting professionals. We actively recruit students through our "Meet the Firm" events at CSUN and local networking gatherings, where they can meet our team, learn about our culture, and discover what it's like to build a career at Ascend Advisors. Interested students can easily apply by scanning a QR code at these events.
We offer two internship sessions each year:
● Spring: January through April 15
● Summer: June through August 15
Unlike many internships, our interns work alongside our professionals in the office each day, gaining hands-on experience with tax preparation, client service, and a variety of real-world accounting projects. They become an integral part of the team while developing practical skills that can't be learned in a classroom.

Beyond technical experience, interns become part of the Ascend Advisors team, collaborating with professionals, asking questions, and learning what it takes to build lasting client relationships.
